Early Life and Education
Nina Kotova, an American cellist and composer of Russian descent, studied at the Moscow Conservatory.
After 1988, she continued her education in the United States and Germany.
International Career
Kotova embarked on her international performance career with concerts at London's Wigmore Hall (1996) and the Barbican Hall.
In 1999, she released her debut album featuring chamber miniatures by Russian composers, which remained on the Billboard weekly chart as one of the top-selling classical albums in the US for seven weeks.
Critical Acclaim
