LOWER DIR: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl district chief Sirajuddin on Monday said the Mufti Mahmood Conference to be held in Peshawar on Oct 14 would set directions for future politics in the province.
Addressing a gathering at the residence of JUI-F provincial executive council member Qazi Ayazuddin in Qaziabad Talash area here, Mr Sirajuddin said the party had finalised its preparations for the upcoming Peshawar event to be attended by party workers and leaders in large numbers.
He said party activists would go to the Oct 14 moot in vehicles.
Without naming the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, JUI-F leader Qazi Ayazuddin said his party had won the 13 years long war against a ‘fitna’ in the country.
He said the JUI-F was not against any individual or group but it would offer strong resistance to every party and individual wanting to introduce the West’s culture and customs in the country.
