Julia Boorstin Biography
Julia Boorstin is an American award-winning Journalist currently working as a CNBC’s Senior Media and tech Correspondent based in the Los Angeles Bureau.
She is also the creator of the annual Disruptor 50 covering reports on the documentary ‘Stay Tuned…The Future of TV. Julia also served as a writer for Fortune Magazine.
Boorstin attended Harvard Westlake School from 1990 to 1996.

Nevertheless, she joined Princeton University where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in History (2000). She also took part in The Daily Princetonian activities as an editor. Julia was awarded the News Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Coverage of a Current News Story.
Julia has also served for the State Department Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and Al Gore’s domestic policy office.
She joined CNBC in May 2006 as a general assignment reporter.
